【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiestheperformanceandqualityrequirementsforbayonetlampholdersforaircraftlampshavingsinglecentrecontact(B15s)capsandminia-turecentrecontact(BA9s)caps,intendedforuseinatmosphericpressuresdownto522millimetresofmercury(equivalenttoanaltitudeof10000ft(3048m)).Thelampholdersaresuitableforuseonsystemsofnominalvoltagesupto28volts;theymaybeusedonothernominalvoltagessubjecttothefollowingindividualmaximumlimitations,whichapplyindependentlyofeachother:B15s:2amp,250Vr.m.s.a.c,60watts.BA9s:1amp,50Vr.m.s.a.c,10watts.AlthoughBAlampholdersarenotrecommendedforgeneraluseincircuitsoperatingatmorethan50volts,withneonindicatorlampsBA9slampholdersmaybeusedonnominalsystemvoltagesupto200Vr.m.s.a.c,subjecttoaseriesballastresistorbeingconnectedexternallytothecentrecontactofthelampholder.Outlinedrawingsofpreferredlampholdersareshown,butthesearenotintendedtorestrictthedevelopmentoftypesofferingalternativeinstallationalfacilitiessuchasbattenmounting.
