【摘要】:Thispracticemaybeusedtoevaluatetheperformanceofdifferenttonersinacommonmachine.Itcanalsobeusedtoevaluatetheeconomicsoftonerusagewhenmakingmachine-to-machinecomparisons.Thepracticeprovidesonlyapointestimatethatissubjecttoasignificantnumberofvariablesthatarenoteasilymeasured.Aswithalldrydevelopers,two-componentdevelopersystemsarenot100%efficient.Sometonerislosttothesurroundings(insideoroutsidethecopier).Thislossisalsodependentoncopieradjustmentsandmaybesignificantenoughtoaffectthetotalnumberofcopiescapableofbeingproducedbyaspecificamountoftoner.Anyonemakingadecisionbasedontheresultsofthispracticeshouldcarefullyconsidertheaccuracyoftheresultsandotherpertinentdata.Actualuseofthecopierinnormaloperatingconditionswillmostlikelyresultintonerusagevaluesdifferentfromthosegeneratedinthispractice.1.1Thispracticedescribesaprocedureforestimatingthenumberofcopiesthatcanbeproducedforagivenunitoftonerinacopierusingdrytwo-componentdeveloper.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityofwhoeverusesthisstandardtoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeSection9forspecificprecautionarystatements.
