【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverspolyolefinmonofilamentyarnmaterials,andtestmethodsforstandardpolyolefinmonofilaments.Whiledesignedprimarilyfortestingstandardpolyolefinmonofilaments,manyoftheprocedurescanbeused,withlittleornomodification,forotherpolyolefinmonofilaments.However,testingonnon-standardpolyolefinmonofilamentsshouldbeconductedwithcaution.Seeforadefinitionofstandardpolyolefinmonofilament.1.2Onlyonconditionthatinterlaboratoryprecisiondataareavailableforthespecificprocedureisanytestmethoddescribed,orreferencedinthisspecification,recommendedforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsofpolyolefinmonofilaments.1.3ThespecificationforpolyolefinrawmaterialsappearsinSection4.1.4Thetestmethodsforindividualpropertiesappearinthefollowingsections:Note1Inmostinstances,thesuitabilityoftheseproceduresforpolymericyarnsingeneral,andpolyolefinmonofilamentsinparticular,isalreadyacceptedincommercialtransactions(see).1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard;thevaluesinEnglishunitsareprovidedasinformationonlyandarenotexactequivalents.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsdescribedinthisspecification:Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
