【摘要】:Thistestmethodcanbeusedforresearchorforqualitycontroltocharacterizeisocyanatesusedinpolyurethaneproducts.Fortoluenediisocyanate,resultsfromthistestmethodcanrelatetoreactivityorperformanceinpolyurethanesystems.1.1Thistestmethodmeasuresthecolorofclearliquids.Itisapplicableonlytomaterialswhosecolor-producingbodieshavelight-absorptioncharacteristicssimilartothoseoftheplatinumcobaltcolorstandardsused.(SeeTestMethodD1209andNote1.)1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardsstatementssee7.1andNote2.Note18212;AlthoughthistestmethodandISO6271-1997differinsomedetails,dataobtainedusingeitheraretechnicallyequivalent.
