【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversthegeneralrequirementsforheat-shrinkcableentryseals.Cableentrysealsareintendedformakingelectricalcablepenetrationsintoconnectionboxes,bulkheads,orotherenclosures.Thesedevicesaresuitableforboththinwallenclosuresupto5mm(3/16in.)thickandthick-wallenclosuresof5mmto19mm(3/16in.to3/4in.)thick.Cableentrysealsshallhavefactory-appliedadhesivethatprovidesthesealtowireandcablejackets.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortoitsuse.
