【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversstructuralqualitycarbonsteelplatesfurnishedtochemicalcompositionrequirements.1.2Theplatesareavailableinseveralstandardsteelgradesandnon-standardgrades.1.3Theplatesareusuallyfurnishedintheas-rolled(hot-rolled)condition.1.4Supplementaryrequirementsareprovidedforadditionalrequirementsthatmaybespecifiedontheorder.1.5Whenthesteelistobewelded,itispresupposedthataweldingproceduresuitableforthegradeofsteelandintendeduseorservicewillbeutilized.SeeAppendixX3ofSpecificationA6/A6Mforinformationonweldability.1.6ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.
